Vienna is the county seat of Maries County, Missouri. The 2000 census showed Vienna as having a population of 628.

While Vienna is a small town located in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks, it is also close to several larger cities. The Missouri state capital of Jefferson City, is only 35 minutes away. Vienna is located on Highways 63 and 42, and is also only a short 25 minute drive to Rolla, Missouri and Interstate 44. If it is the outdoors and water recreation that you seek, Vienna is only 45 minutes to the well known Lake of the Ozarks.

If hunting and fishing are more your style, Vienna is a wonderful area. The Gasconade River flows nearby and Vienna also has several nearby Conservation areas for hunting and fishing.
